How to educate our future?

What is Education?

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”

-Nelson Mandela

Literacy rate for males is 90%, & for Female is 82.7% world-wide.

Education plays a vital role to attain harmony in a society. It shapes the minds of people and enriches society. Historically, a person with good education gets preference in society. People believe that one educate person can fight for his or her Rights and have insights into life. In a turbulent world this is the most superior weapon that can help us to prevail over and can help to live a peaceful life.

Gautam Buddha and Chanakya habilitated the significance of moral education and Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Albert Einstein has put in an appearance the power of knowledge to fight with social and political evils. They came from distinct societies and have delivered us altruism and a sense of humanity.

School education

As far as schooling is concerned, it provides a better perspective of life and shapes the future. This is extremely important to provide the best attainable education to the child so that they can be knowledgeable person.

However, the relevance of education in the 21st century has increased significantly which has resulted in cut-throat competition world-wide. Billions of learning minds are competing around the globe for every possible available opportunity. And the importance of e-learning has increased manifold.

Moral Education

“The man is nothing but the product of his thoughts, what he thinks, he becomes.”

-Mahatma Gandhi

The reality seems in “Morality is mentality”.  One must focus on providing moral education to everyone from early childhood education to the child so he or she can be the change. And respect for the individual, Women, old age, Environment, and self-respect should not only be taught in schools but should be practiced by parents in real life to provide a glimpse.

Challenges

However, this seems a blot on human civilization that we have not been able to provide education to all after many decades of human Civilisation. In India an elementary education for all still possesses a challenge but the picture has been clearer since 2000. New educational policies adopted by the government are being a great success. The programs such as Sarva Siksha Abhiyan (Education for all), Mid-day meal, and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Mission Clean India) has supported tremendously to increase attendance at school. The obsolete poor and illiterate population survives in sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. They have been taking major too to improve the situation.

The digital world has evolved significantly over the years, now the era of e-education has a grip on the study, we are facing some of the greatest challenges of the world of current time such as lack of e-infrastructure, cybersecurity, social media, etc. It has provided luxury to individuals that lead to anxiety and depression because students tend to give preference to online activities. And time management becomes a never-ending challenge to them.

Meanwhile, the opportunity and threat are two sides of the same coin. On the one hand it opens the door of vast opportunities, and on the other hand, it possesses a great challenge in front of parents and students to protect them from the evil of the digital world. The responsibility to protect the child once again is with parents.

Way Ahead

There are many things to accomplish for an individual, being happy is crucial, To be happy one should have the balance between his or her words, thoughts and actions, and striking a balance is possible when you have a better perspective which comes with good education, not only with bookish knowledge but from moral education.

In the words of Mahatma Gandhi, “Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.”

Thank you!

Economy post covid19

World Economy post covid19 Background The pandemic began with the global health crisis and it will result in a recession world-wide. The crisis takes us back to the time when agriculture was a settled practice in the northern part of the Fertile Crescent (South-east Turkey) some 11,000 years ago and then to Asia and America. The era where livestock and domestication of animals enabled society to develop while many practices and technological innovations contributed to development thereafter. The time when people were very limited to their economic activities; perhaps it had its limitations. However, the concept of the "global economy" was nowhere. Silk route is known as an ancient trade route The world economy expanded with the increase of population and trade between Asia and Europe through the silk route. India and China played a significant role in world trade during the time. Causes Once Economist and the former prime minister of India Dr. Man
